Tobi/Cipro

just a note... when you administer tobi you may want to mask yourself up. i always noticed that i was very hoarse and had a slight cough after sophies treatments with tobi and when i asked our respiratory tech at cf clinic they said they are required to wear masks if they administer tobi to anyone. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

We just got off a round of Tobi/Cipro. It was not fun at all so I feel your pain! My sons stools were way different. We even changed enzymes while on the meds. It didnt help. His stools did look like it had mucus in them. He really didnt throw up while on the meds. He didnt like having to do the Tobi at first becuase it took so long but he did get use to it and would fall asleep through it. I didnt know we were suppose to mask ourselves while giving it to him. My husband would most of the time want me to give it to him because he said it gave him a headache. It didnt bother me so much but I did wonder if we were suppose to be breathing it with him LOL.

Hey everyone, quick question...after giving Tyler the Cipro he will spit up later on(not alot) and I see some of it in his spit up and I'm scared he's not getting all of it! What do you all think? Also how long before or after would you give him a bottle after doing the Tobi? B/C he spit up what looked like half his bottle/enzymes this morning after giving him his Tobi and Cipro! I'm just sooo afraid he's spitting the meds up and not getting enough!
