my rule of thumb is 8 hours, but sometimes i need to do them like 7 hours apart so i can get some sleep. how close can i get?

12 hours is ideal.

bacteria need to be killed at equal intervals... if there is too much time in between treatments, bacteria grow back stronger and resistance is induced more quickly. No one wants that.

im not worried about doing them too far apart, just too close together. i suppose they affect each other, but my dr just told me that if i cant squeeze another one in, its better just to make sure to do the next two the next day.

I sometimes do them seven hours apart too. I think the closest possible is 6 hrs apart - obviously not ideal but the literature says if you miss a dose and it is less than 6 hrs til your next one skip it. It is really hard trying to get treatments evenly spaced all the time, everyone needs a lie in now and again!
