Jody,
We are going through the same thing with Sawyer. His last clinic visit was in April and he has hardly gained any weight since then. I am chalking it up to it being summer and the fact that he is super active. Still in the back of my mind it is concerning. It has been a long time since Sawyer has not gained two pounds between visits. His next appt. is August 31st so we will see then if he has grown in height. I feel like he has but don't know for sure. Hopefully by then he will have put on more weight. I know how exhausting it can be. I feel worn out most of the time. I feel like I wake up in the morning thinking about what he is going to eat and how I can add more calories. Is Ben taking the oral GSH or just the inhaled? We started Sawyer on the oral too so hopefully that is going to make a difference in his weight gain. How many enzymes and what kind is Ben on? I do think that all of my children around this age thinned out some and weight gain slowed. Of course I didn't even think about it with them. Well I just wanted you to know you are not alone!! Talk to you soon!

DS thinned out a bit the beginning of the summer -- they do a lot of outside activities at his preschool and he was/is on the go constantly, gymnastics went to twice a week. Plus he was going thru an "I don't want to eat anything phase". Add to that -- he grew a few inches taller.

Took a couple months, but I think he's gotten used to the outdoor time -- he's back to eating peanuts when he gets home from school for a snack and more recently he's asked for popcorn for a snack (I sneak butter on it). And if he won't eat much at supper, I make sure to give try to give him a good snack before bed. Fortunately because of the warmer weather he's at least drinking more, so I'll make him a smoothy with greek yogurt and berries.
