I think u shouldtalk to her pulmonologist, my daughter was also having issues but she said if they were she may be prone to more infections, so we waited, but if both ent and pulm doctors agree they need to come out than they should.

you should check with both ent and pulmonologist, my daughter was having problems last year and her pulmo dr wasnt to keen on idea of having them removed due to could be prone to more infections. If they both feel she would benefit from removal they will do surgery.

Thanks so much for your answers. I really appreciate all the info I can get. You are right Valigirl21 (Our babies go through enough.) She is on antibiotic again for 10 days and she is feeling better. Her tonsils still look big but she doesn't complain about pain. Her next cf center appt is in May and I'm going to talk about this with her pulm. Thanks again.

My daughter had infection after infection. We would be off an antibiotic and sick again after three weeks again. Most of her problems were sinus related. The doctor sent us to and ENT and he took her tonsils and adnoids out. This was in November. It is now almost May and she has not had the first sniffle. The best thing we ever did.
