total healing from CF

maybe this is more a topic for religion but the adults section gains the most exposure!! so i am on a quest to find out if anyone in the world who had CF has received a total and without a doubt, healing from a miraculous divine source? what i mean is as an example, someone with say 50 percent pft's suddenly blowing 100 percent pft's due to the power of prayer or the like. maybe someone has been on the transplant list and suddenly been totally healed? i am a true sceptic and would truely love to hear from anyone who can lead me to speak and meet with the healed person and their family. if i dont hear of any divine and miraculous healings it will serve as proof to me that the bible is a big load of shite with some good life truths thrown in to suck a few people in!! however if i am knocked down in the rush of people proving their miuraculous healing i will be forced to accept i am wrong and begin praying like a man possesed for my own healing!!! lets see what gives here!!1 bzzzt Blacky

God decides what should be done, whether we pray for it or not. So there is a pretty big flaw in your assumption that just because what a CFer wants to have happen doesn't happen, then the whole Bible is a fraud.

Are you meaning seeing an unbelievable change in health status with ONLY the work of prayer? Or are you looking for someone that has experienced very rough bouts with their health that through prayer, proper meds and hardwork were able to get back on their feet?

I consider myself religious/spiritual, but do not feel you will find the "proof" you are looking for if you are only looking to hear from someone that has prayed (and ONLY prayed) for a change and had it happen.

That being said there is a woman in town here that was listed for transplant - PFTs in high 20% range. She thought on it and didn't feel transplant was the right path for her. She started to work hard at exercising - when she first started she couldn't even walk 50 feet. Now she is off the transplant list and her PFTs are slowly making a climb - she can also run 2 miles straight. I don't know if she has prayed or not - as I don't know her personally, I simply know her story through friends. Her PFTs are now in the 40s and she is still getting better everyday.

I don't know if that is what you were looking for or what. That was the first thing I thought of when I was reading your post though. She hasn't made a jump from 25% to 100% but a 20% increase and getting off the transplant list seems like one amazing accomplishment to me.

I agree with Amy though. Just because you may not find "proof" of God performing miracles and healing people with CF doesn't mean much. Altering the course of one person (if it was not their purpose or in their life to be "cured" or healed) could/would cause a ripple effect of changes throughout the world (I know that may seem a little much - but I feel it is true) there would be numerous small changes that would ultimately effect everyone. There is much more to it (much more than any of us will probably ever understand) than God will cure me because I pray - just my opinion on that.

That being said I hope you find what you are searching for.

elief in Jesus as displayed in the bibles numerous mentions of total and absolut healing--- meven being bought back to life from death. to my way of thinking at least on e person with cf should have been healed without doubt through the power of prayer. i think Christians make excuses as to why no one with CF has been healed because they dont want to question their belief system that carries them through their tough times, and i am not saying they should. all i would like to know is has anyone ever been totally healed of CF????
ps, i love the way you girls can put different photos and images on here, i am next as mum is buying me a digital video!!!, then you can all see what a spunk BC is!!

Remember chameleon, the bible could be considered flawed as it was passed down through history by people.....mostly men. No story or truth ever stays original after passing through so many people just like a phrase passed around a crowded room changes on it's return trip. If god exists I doubt it's the 100% bible version.....too many chances for that book to be influenced by personal opinions throughout it's time. As far as healing, I've never heard of a cf'r healed. However getting extremely angry gives me the ability to blow 50-70 points higher on my digital PFT monitor.....thats not miraculous though, just adrenaline<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
