Transitioning

Adults with CF, how did your transition go when you "aged" out of pediatric care? Did you just move to another CF clinic, did you just switch to seeing individual doctors, Pulmo, Endo, Nutritionist, etc The nearest adult clinic is very far away and I was thinking it may be easier to transfer care to more local doctors and just see them individually.

I'm fortunate to be living near a few good Adult CF Centers. If I didn't, I'd travel to an Accredited CF center several times a year but primarily see a local pulmonologist. The two can work together. I did this for a while.

It's very important to keep attending an Accredited CF Center.
