Hey Roshelle, I googled Medicare lung transplants and found this information on this site:
<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.medicare.gov/Coverage/Home.asp

</a>
Medicare covers transplants of the heart, lung, kidney, pancreas, intestine/multivisceral, and liver under certain conditions and, for some types of transplants, only at Medicare-approved facilities. Medicare only approves facilities for kidney, heart, liver, lung and intestine/multivisceral transplants. Pancreas transplants are not limited to approved facilities. Transplant coverage includes necessary tests, labs, and exams before surgery for you and the organ donor, follow-up care for you and a live donor, and procurement of organs and tissues.
