Interesting to be told you have to plan. I just went. Let the doctors know beforehand and they said 'have fun, don't drink tap water and try not to kill yourself.' Then again I only went for two weeks and had enough meds for a month. I might end up going to europe this summer for anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 months, which I'm sure will require more planning but more so on the financial/what to do side than meds (which can be sent through the mail) and transplant worries. Also if you're traveling anywhere an unpressurized plane is kind of a no-no. High amounts of pressure on your lungs isn't a good thing when they've been replaced and sewn in, same with scuba diving; though both are certainly possible.
