"Travel" nebs...

I'm very excited to be going on vacation in a few days and have just collected my new "travel" neb. Can't say I wasn't a little disappointed at the size and weight of it. Its pretty big and heavy! Thats probably due to the general stinginess of my local health authority, I'd say this thing was made in the 80s!

I have an eflow but can't use that for hypertonic saline, which I have just started and LOVE so don't want two weeks without.

So for future reference, anyone know of a decently portable neb?

I have an Omron CompAir NE-C30 Elite that's really small and light. The dimensions are about 5" x 4" x 2" and it weighs a pound. It can be plugged in or if you order one uses a rechargeable battery, as well.

The only downside is that it is not approved by the FDA to deliver Pulmozyme. I still used it, but my doctor said it would probably not give me the full benefit of Pulmozyme, and basically only the larger ones would (not that it had to do with size of the machine).

FYI, you CAN use the eflow for HTS, however I have heard several that did complain it was very strong due to how well the eflow works. You also have to clean really well as HTS will clog it up if you don't. But I wanted to make sure you knew you can use it if you wish; I know several here do.

FYI, you CAN use the eflow for HTS, however I have heard several that did complain it was very strong due to how well the eflow works. You also have to clean really well as HTS will clog it up if you don't. But I wanted to make sure you knew you can use it if you wish; I know several here do.
