Travel to Mexico

I have traveled to other countries but just thought about it and need a quick answer. Do I need a converter or adapter for my nebulizer, etc.? I'll be in Cancun, Mexico in the tourist strip.

I also seem to have lost the label on my nebulizer solution box for cromolyn sodium. I know I should have a letter from my doctor stating medications I take but I've been abroad so many times to Europe and no one has ever asked for it so I didn't ask for one. I leave Monday a.m. very early so I don't think I can get one before then. Should I expect problems?

Just updating in case it will help anyone in the future.

I had no problem with medicine and was even sent to secondary inspection in Mexico (b/c I was the lucky winner of hitting the button and getting the red light at customs).

Plugs are the same as they are in the US so no problem plugging anything in.

We went to Mexico with DS when he was almost 3 -- so about 4 years ago. Didn't have any issues in Mexico. I even packed liquid carnation instant breakfast and juice boxes in our luggage, as well as mini-cans of spagettios. Medication was in a backpack along with icepacks in a lunch box cooler for the tobi and pulmozyme, as well as several suspension (oral meds). being that it was mexico, I figured if we needed something, I could always just run down to the MANY pharmacies on every corner and pick something up.

It was LEAVING the midwest and getting pulled aside due to the compressor (nebulizer).

We go to Mexico alot and I have never had any problems with my meds. However I do carry a letter stating I have CF and I am on various meds from my doc but I have NEVER been asked for the letter! I also carry copies of the box fronts of some of the meds since I do not carry them in their original boxes/containers. But again I have never been asked to show my papers. The only thing I have ever done was tell the scanner that the thing they were holding was a nebulizer and they just say ok. I also never used any adapters in Mexico to plug in my compressor either.

So have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
