One of my husband's coworkers relocated here from Puerto Rico last year. One thing I'll throw out is that she said the mold there is HORRIBLE. She had some coat that apparently was completely moldy because of it and she was complaining about it. If there's anything specific that might be helpful to know from a non-CF Puerto Rican (i.e., pharmacy names, etc.), let me know and I'll she if DH can see if she knows.

Maybe this is a silly question but would you buy bottled water for drinking etc? When we travel I use bottled water to sterilize nebs as I don't trust water from hotels etc...

We've traveled to PR for the last 4 x-mas vacations, stayed about 2 weeks each time. Within 48 hours, my sats go up 3-4% and I feel so much better. Never had any difficulty with meds, but I've always traveled with a reserve stock. My mom went last year with us when she had severe bronchitis and she went to a local health clinic and they were terrific, very competent, prescribed meds, no charge. I am very sensitive to molds and I havent had a problem in the condos that we've rented, even though some of them havent been super clean. We've always drunk the water and eaten local unprocessed food, never had a problem. And the snorkeling is amazing!!!!!!!!!
