Always take your meds as a carry-on they don't count as 'carry on' since they are considered medical equipment/ medicines. I put my pulmo./tobi in a tupperwear container with a coldpack/ice in a plastic baggie and tape the prescription from the box on top of the tupperwear. I have always let all my meds go through the xray machine but before they go through I just quickly exclaim "I have liquid medicine in here for my nebulizer machine (and usually point out my machine and tupperwear of meds). I haven't had a problem doing that. They usually nod in acknowledgement and then just let them through.

I have flown several time with meds lately-I just put the HS, pulmozyme, and tobi into ziplock bags with the Rx I get with them (mine come with a portion I can rip off that says what the med is and my name on it). No problem whatsoever. I always take it out through security. I have it in an insulated lunchbag thing with an icepack. The nebulizer I take out too-one time the ran some chemical tracing thing over it-but this last time they didn't.
