I bought mine about 4 years ago. It's a Schwinn 835P. I don't know if it's still around anymore.
Here are a few things that I like about it:
--I love the incline. Mine can go up to 10% if I want.
--Mine also has several automatic programs you can choose from, ie: stays flat for x amount of time, then goes to 3% incline for x amount of time, then 5%, then back to 0%, etc. Having this option is really nice so you don't have to think about mixing it up.
--Mine also has a heart rate monitor on the dashboard. I thought this was really important when I got it, but I've learned that it doesn't always work right. Now I don't really trust it and just use a regular chest band and watch to monitor my HR when I want. So that was an extra luxury that I didn't end up using.
--I really like on mine how you first type in your weight and then start your workout. I guess it adjusts based on this so that if someone else wants to use who weighs a lot more / or less, they can and it will be personally fit for them. I don't really get it, but that's what that is and I like it.
--They might all have it, but there's a chord to pull which is an emergency string in case it gets going too fast or you have get into a coughing fit and loos track, etc, you can pull it and the machine will stop immediately. I've only had to use this once b/c sometimes when I increase the speed a lot at one time, the speed can jump waaay up and suddenly be going faster then the bionic woman.
--I sported for the slightly more expensive version so I could have more of the special features and I'm glad I did. Only thing is that it is one pain in the rear to move! You need several strong guys to do it.
At the time I got mine I was living in snow country, so it was peace of mind to know when the winter hit I could still do my jogging at any time without worring about ice and cold.
Good luck.
