bonnie, morgan does the same thing, but unfortunately for seven nights dustin isn't here so i have to make do. sometimes she will play and sometimes i stick her in her swing infront of the tv. sometimes i can wait till she falls asleep for a nap ro the night, but sometimes i don't feel like waiting. i'll put her on my lap and she just shakes with mommy and plays with the straps on my vest and plays with the neb hose. i do have an extra hose that i let her chew on, yeah its grose but it occupies her.

Hi Haley,

I tried bringing a bin of toys and that helps. I'm starting to ask her "what do you want to bring with us" and hopefully over time she will understand and pick out her own things to bring. This week she is pulling up more so that's the new thing to do while I'm using my vest. DH has a long commute so I have to try to do it before he gets home most nights.

It was hilarious, the other day DH left for work before I could spend 15 minutes on my treadmill. Against my better judgement I put Amelia down in front of the TV with Sesame Street on. Within 3 minutes she was crawling over the edge of her foam couch and proceeded to crawl across the living room dragging it with one of her legs. I almost peed my pants. Then once she got off that she crawled away and I found her in her room sorting through the dirty laundry pile I was working on. I got her back in the livingroom and put up a gate...then she started to cry. Ack! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I lasted 11 minutes but at least it was something!

morgan is all over the place and she's starting to walk. i have a two doors that connect my living room to the hall and the dining room so i'm going to have to start shutting those.

has amelia started walking yet? we got morgan on video the other night taking ten steps. she'll take some then realize what she's doing then fall.

Wow, Morgan is walking?! Time flies!

No walking here but she is starting to stand for a few seconds unsupported just this week. She has only been crawling for a month. She figured out how to remove the outlet protector plugs this week and she had her hand on her car seat buckle yesterday trying to open it.
