hey solana, i'm not sure of your situation, but have you tried inhaled antibiotics? sometimes with a mild flare-up, some tobi is just the thing.

Can you use tegaderm dressing? Its a little less irritating than normal tape, maybe a bit overkill but better safe than sorry. It is poly based, so the covering shouldn't cause issues with allergies, however, I don't know about the adhesive. Its impermeable to viruses and bacteria.
