I was only diagnosed aged 19, but reckon I was PI from the age of about 13-14. As far as I know though, most CF-ers are PI pretty much straight away, and only the milder types develop it later.

yea! Happy news! No enzymes yet! We took her poop sample in and the results are back. I guess she's been losing some of her fat absorbing ability, but not a lot. I think she said she's lost only about 15% of her ability in the past year. And since she's been gaining weight on her own (almost 23lbs at 18 months) they're hesitant to put her on more drugs. yippee!!!

My oldest started right after he got started on formula. My youngest had to wait for the results to come back that he actually had CF before they would start them. (Even though I knew he had it).
Both of them have mild lung disease and are really affected by weight gain, acid reflux, etc.
