Thanks everyone, I really appreciate your support. Let me clarify though, the boys will not be treated for the myco this time in. They are doing ABX for the pseudo and continued cough. The docs are waiting to see what the myco is before deciding treatment. There is a possiblity that it won't even be present in the cultures from the bronch. Let's hope it was just a fluke.

aww sorry to hear this...atleast its not a long stay....but one night in the hosptial is too much! hope the abx kick butt<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> heres to a speedy recovery!!

40 days to grow out.
hhhmm, I wonder how often they keep checking for that long?
I wonder if they just wait a few days or perhaps a week and check the cultures and that's it?

I'm definetly additng to my list of questions for our next visit.
