Hello

First of all, baby looks great - growing right on track and is estimated to weigh 2 lbs 7 oz right now. Unfortunately I saw a different u/s tech than the one I usually see so the pictures suck and I didn't get as many as usual. She was nice and all but it just wasn't the same <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> Plus the doc was at a delivery - she usually does a quick look w/ the u/s after the tech and she could have gotten me some better pictures. I didn't get any 3/d pics even though she put the machine in 3/d - she couldn't get a good shot plus she couldn't figure out how to get the 3/d picture on the whole screen. I hope I see the other tech next time! I go back in 6 weeks.

I also met w/ the midwife. We talked about my nutrition (given my recent blood work) and what foods I can eat to help boost my levels. She measured my uterus - measured fine and listened to the heart rate.

Oh forgot to mention - baby is breech. I am 99% sure she's been like that the whole time. I always feel her move down low. I am not worried at this point - she's got plenty of time to turn. But it helps that my new chiropractor is familiar in the Webster technique that has been shown to help babies turn into the vertex position. So I've got 12+ weeks to work on her position. For now I'm gonna let it go.

Glad to hear your appt went well. Too bad you didn't get the u/s tech you wanted though. The first tech I had wasn't very good and didn't explain anything, but my second one was good and told us everything she was measuring. My last u/s showed the baby was head-down, but I know that could possibly change because there's still time to move around in there ....so being breech is definitely not for sure, so don't worry. Can you believe we're in our last trimester? Didn't it seem like yesterday that we got pregnant? The time flies!

glad to hear that your appt went well! when i went to mine on tuesday they told me everything was fine and finally told me what my belly actually is measuring...i'll be 34 weeks tomorrow and my belly measures 28. my husband is on me to ask how big of a baby i can deliver, i figure i still have time to worry about that. i can't wait till my next u/s so that i can find out how big he's gotten!! last u/s showed him head down, so i'm sure your little one will flip around.

If you want to help the breech positioning sit on an exercise ball with legs on either side for at least 20 minutes a day. This was something my doula recommended as well as Christian's doula. I attempted to Vest on it:) Definitely avoid couches and recliners are the worst. If not the ball sit in a straight back chair or if on the couch with your arse in the air and head down...although it's not a very lady like position it is perfect for getting that babies head where it's supposed to go. Isaac was always head down until about 1 week before deliver he went supine (sp? sideweighs) over night and then all day...by evening he was back head down (confirmed by u/s the next morning). I did some of this stuff even though I never was breach because I'd heard the US lifestyle causes breach and I wanted to avoid cx at all cost so it was a huge priority since my hosp. didn't deliver breach babes.
