To deal with yeast, I eat more organic yogurt, take extra sea salt, take coconut oil orally and, if it's really uncomfortable, use coconut oil topically. It gives instant relief and helps kill the stuff. I also sometimes eat lettuce to help with this issue.

Good luck with this.

You guys are terrific! I knew you'd come through for me. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I know you aren't allowed to comment on your status in the Vertex study, but is anybody in a Vertex study taking any of these things for yeast infections? I should be getting the paperwork in a couple of weeks, but then I have to be two weeks without the Diflucan, so I'd like to switch to something that is for sure allowed.

Either way, at least I have a number of possibilities to try! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

i didn't read though all the posts sorry i'm about to head out. but i'd figure i'd pipe in and say what i learned a while back. i found an alternative to tampons called sea sponges. if you want me to look up the website i will i just don't have it off hand. well these sponges are reusable, you just have to clean them in between cycles. well i use both peroxide and tea tree oil. the tea tree oil helps kill germs if i remember correctly. i also read when i got my last sponges that if you have a yeast infection you can soak the sponge in tea tree oil and then insert it and it will help with the infection. like i said i'm on my way out so if you would like i'll pull up the website i order from. you can buy tea tree oil pretty much anywhere, it does have quiet a smell to it though. anyways just my two cents.
