The lack of hydration might explain things then as DD had to fast from the night before and was only allowed a few sips of water with her meds that morning.

She had just done her lung function tests with an FEV1 of 118% and has a really good bodyweight. Well, we know what to do next time for normal blood draws - hydrate well - and hopefully the fasting test won't be as difficult next time.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">It ended up with every finger being stabbed repeatedly to gather as many drops of blood as possible. Not fun.

Will look into the Coconut water - have noticed this has come up a few times in different posts as being really helpful.
