We live about 3 hours away from Universal. I have not been since Haryy Potter World opened, but I hear it is awesome. Universal studios is divided into 2 parks. Universal studios, and Islands of Adventure with a very cool shopping/restaurant/movie theater district that connects the two. Islands is for the ride lover as it has a lot of crazy roller coaster rides. Universal has more "attractions" and shows and is also very cool. Though Disney does it the best, I recommend it for a great time.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Piper and I went at the beginning of Dec when we went to visit my Aunt & Uncle. The "slow" days are Tues and Wed, if there's any way possible, I would try to go on one of those. We went on a Tues and arrived shortly after park opening. Got a GAP for Piper, and hit Wizarding World first! The lines were pretty reasonable until about 11am, then it started getting more crowded. It is absolutely spectacular. The theming throughout is awesome, it was like stepping into the pages of the book. Ollivanders had a 30-40 min wait when we stopped, but with her pass, we showed it to the attendant, he gave us a return time about 30 min later, and when we went back he let us right in. After the show we went into the wand shop, and it was elbow to elbow. I'm not sure how you'd get around that with it still being so new. We skipped going into a restaurant and got our butter beer off a cart. No waiting that way. I'm sure you'd have a blast!
