We're looking at taking a trip again. Last time we stayed onsite at a Disney Resort and will probably do so again as DS loves Epcot the best. We're wondering about spending a day or two at Universal. Has anybody been there recently, since Harry Potter opened? Suggestions?

We went to Universal in CA.
if you go, don't forget to ask for the Special Assistance Pass. NO LINES! NO KIDDING!!

But, I can't help but wonder.... Universal rides and attractions are very very wet. Water rides, splashes, mist is everywhere. I'm thinking this wasn't such a great idea for my CFer.

thoughts?

There are a couple rides which indicate one could get very wet, possibly soaked. I've been on similar ones at other theme parks, so figure we'll avoid those. Mainly 'cuz I hate getting soggy. Will play things by ear regarding other rides.

Take me with you, that is my best suggestion as I have not been there in a long time. Jaws scared the crud out of me.
Have Fun. Have you done Make a Wish for him Yet?

Jaws looks cool. Will play it by ear in terms of the mummy ride. Only annoying thing is not being able to have bags, sometimes even fanny packs on some of the rides at Universal or use their lockers.

He hasn't done make a wish.

We live about 3 hours away from Universal. I have not been since Haryy Potter World opened, but I hear it is awesome. Universal studios is divided into 2 parks. Universal studios, and Islands of Adventure with a very cool shopping/restaurant/movie theater district that connects the two. Islands is for the ride lover as it has a lot of crazy roller coaster rides. Universal has more "attractions" and shows and is also very cool. Though Disney does it the best, I recommend it for a great time.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
