Yep, sounds like shingles. I had it five years ago and it is not fun. Unfortunately, once the rash starts it is really too late to have any medicine help it. My doctor still put me on something anyway and told me that calamine lotion helps.

<br />I would make sure to see a doctor because I'd it hasn't started yet, the pain can get quite bad. But do get calamine lotion, it helped me. Feel better!!!
