UPDATE: A struggling CF family

I recieved this email from LeAndra today and my hear just breaks for her and her boys and for Jeremy. Please keep them in your prayers. They all know that this is "the end" but that doesn't make it any easier.

For those who PM'd me requesting her address, I have it now and she's ok giving it out so if you want to send her a card, a check to pay for her bills (she's struggling financially due to taking 12+ weeks off to care for her husband) or anything else you think her family could use, please PM or email me (division902@verizon.net)

Here is her email today:

tried to contact the milan fnd but it said the site was down. Jeremy
went on hospice Wednesday. I think it is for the best. He needs pain

We sent them a check a few days ago, not much but I'm sure it will help. I had emailed her to get her address and she mentioned that Jeremy had been put on hospice. I sent a note to her telling her I would be praying for them. My mother was on hospice for cancer when she passed, but this is a bit different being a spouse. I can't only imagine the grief she must be going through (as well as all of them). Thanks for posting the info.

Does anyone else find this weird as hell? Common Julie...we all have financial issues...bleh...I might sound cold, but to come on a CF site, knowing how much we all go through, to ask money for people that we don't really know??

Hey i can't afford my Zithro this month. Any takers?

I agree although that family is going through a very hard time it should not become standard practice to post requests for donations on this forum.
