Victoria text me tonight (at 10:20 Central time that Garren had surgery to put in the dialysis cathedar. His BUN was 47 (normal is 15), and his Creatine was 4.7 (normal is 0.5-1.0--I THINK I copied that number right). He is back on the vent but breathing a little on his own (Vitoria said it was on "spontaneous setting") because he was desatting to 83 on the nasal cannula. They got 200cc out of his belly when they went in . He has fluid on his lungs and they suctioned mucus out and he is intubated right now on the vent. They will try to extubate him tomorrow. She says they will be there probably another two weeks, or so, until the kidneys start working...

Hopefully she will be able to get on tomorrow and explain further. So our little Garren's ordeal is not over--and they still need our prayers and support. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

They are in my thoughts, they have been all through this... Now even more again.

I really hope his kidneys will start working again and they really can come home.
