Marjolein, I am SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MARIE....Kari has had aspirgillis and it is NOTHING NICE! It just about killed her. And whats worse is that she got it during her first tx at Stanford! Cuz they were doing MAJOR construction RIGHT outside the hospital (it lives in the dirt) and they failed to take the proper precautions,, NICE HUH?
Anyway PRAYERS ANG HUGSSSSSSSSS going out to Marie. I am SO SO sorry for her and her family that she has to endure this!

I don't have much news to report. She was in surgery 48 hours ago now. That night after the surgery her dad said she was on the heart lung machine, i guess this could be normal but i also heard from another friend that her grandma who had the same surgery was off the vent by the evening, so i don't know what to think really. Ofcourse she didn't have Aspergillus with it..
He said they were thinking about letting her wake up on Tuesday, yesterday he said that they were going to decide on when to do that Tuesdayevening, so that was about 12 hours ago.. He said she was stable, so i guess that is good..
Though i was really hoping to hear hear there was progress, that was she was better again, even a bit..
