Some things I have done that helped me:
Lots of watermelon.
Lots of lettuce.
Lots of corn.
Lots of organic butter.
Avoided yeast-leavened breads.
Strong spices -- lots of fresh ground organic black pepper, organic paprika, organic cinnamon, organic nutmeg. Also lots of onions, red bell peppers, and garlic.
Organic coconut oil. I made sure to include some in my diet every day at one time.
