They did prescribe Zantac. My son takes Zyrtec for his allergies, so luckily, I know the difference. Thanks for cluing me in to the fact that Pharmacies can mix that stuff up! It'll remind me to watch and smell her scripts in the future! (BTW...I can't believe how disgusting the Zantac smells!)

I'll let the Dr's know at our appointment on Friday...assuming it doesn't get any worse. I also discovered last night that she has a runny nose. I don't think she has a stuffy nose, but myself, my husband, and our son all have sinus trouble, so it could just be farther up in her nasal cavity.

It also helps to know that about your Daughter. I bought some baby applesauce today, and if she keeps it up, I'll just start her on that.

Thanks for all the advice!!!

I'm so glad Paige's GI stuff is going so much better. As for the lung stuff, just because she's having issues does not mean that she's doomed to a severe case of CF from the get go. But I would definitely contact the CF center about any unusual breathing or coughing stuff. Go with your gut.

I've mentioned this before, but when DS was a couple months old he had a nasty bronchial cough and I took the pediatrician's (local CF doctor) word that he was fine. He told me "they (cfers) cough, it's what they do" Meanwhile for the next few weeks I was holding DS over sinks, basement floor drain because he'd cough so hard he'd vomit up his formula. Went for a recheck with his cf doctor in the city and pretty much got yelled at because he had bronchitis. Didn't we KNOW he could've ended up right back in the hospital. He was culturing a bug common to nicus and got put on oral and nebulized antibiotics.

At this age, his doctors don't want any cough. And if he does develop one, beat it out of him with increased cpt.
