The SSA is hosting a special teleconference regarding the proposed changes for the cf community this Friday, May 10th. Members of the cf community are invited to call in. Please see the link for info on how to participate:

The CFF website says there will be a 15 minute comment period at the end of the call, however the government website says no comments will be taken, so I'm not sure which is accurate.

I stand by what I have said, If someone can go to the gym everyday, then they can work.

I disagree. My partner has CF and for him the gym is part of his medical routine. Being on two IV drugs keeps him busy and his treatment schedule, home care visits, clinic visits, other tests, and waiting for IV drug deliveries keeps him too busy. He tried going back to work, even just 3 days per week, but could not maintain a work schedule.
It's hard to hold down a job when you have so little time and your schedule is out of your control. His health is his job now.
