I was wondering if anyone has heard about this Vacuum? It's by Bissell. It's called the Healthy Home Vacuum. It has AireTight HEPA Filtration, Microban Protection, Non-Stop Suction, Multi-Cyclonic Technology, Easy Empty Dirt Container, attachments, etc. Anyway it is at http://healthyhomevac.com/22. However, I am unable to locate the price of this thing. I'm sure it isnt cheap. I saw a quick on commercial on TV for it, looked it up online and it looks like it would be good vacuum. If it works as well as its showed on TV, it would be worth a few hundred. Has anyone ever used this? If so, what do you think about it?

Found the price : Its around $250. (www.bissell.com) at Sears, Target, Walmart, Kohls, Best Buy...to name a few places.

This looks pretty good to me! I have a year-old Kenmore HEPA vaccuum that is very good and have been told as long as you have a HEPA and vaccuum often (I vaccum every other day... excessive?!? LOL), its a good thing... I used to have a vaccuum without HEPA and it was smelly when I used it and didn't work nearly as well, so HEPA is deff. something I'd look for. This bisell has it so no problem there.

The only feature I personally don't likw about this bissel is that you have to empty the container. This always makes me more nervous than bags cause I always seem to get that crap flying back up toward my face. Also, when you empty it, you really should empty it in a garage or something so you're not just reintroducing the micro-bacteria and dust back into your air. You'd deff. want to wear a mask when emptying the canister.

I personally think bags are the way to go as long as you have a heavy HEPA bag. That's JMHO though. I think either are ok as long as its HEPA.

I enjoy my Miele. Check them out they are great for people with respiratory illness. The other one that is suggested is the one that sends the dirt into water and then you have to dump the water. Miele seemed like a better fit for me. Sorry don't remember the others name. Pricey but worth it. Oh and a bonus, Miele's are super quiet - doesn't freak the dog out and I can hear my phone ring :)
...amongst many other benefits as well.
