I'm not sure if this is just an Arizona thing or Southwest thing but in Phoenix we have what is called Valley Fever. Its spores that are in our dirt that we can breath in and its from what I've read, not great at all if someone with CF gets it.
Well....my sister got it. She has CF and recently in the hospital was diagnosed with malnutrition. She's so skinny its scarry. She was weak to begin with and had low FEV 1 so upon getting this "Valley Fever" I'm super worried about her.
My question, and I don't even know if I wanna ask it is: Has anyone of you known someone with CF that has gotten Valley Fever or have you yourself ever got it and successfully gotten rid of it?
I'm so afraid this is it for her. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Laura
