I too am very interested in the 770/809 trial (as, I am sure, is everyone else with at least one df508 mutation.)
If 770 proves a success for G551D, I hope it can be tried for other mutations that are similar in how they affect the gene with similar good results.
Holding my breath on that clinical data they are waiting for with ALL the trials- as we've seen with the recent demise of denufosol, they will need to see significant and long-term good results for the process to move forward, and things can look very good right up until they, well, just DON'T anymore. We were hearing great things about denufosol just weeks before bad results scrapped the trials. I don't think I'm a pessimist either, but tempering my hope right now with some 'wait and see' until that data comes in...
