Ok so I thought that the OPK was going to be right.
It wasn't and I still have not ovulated!!!
I am getting very discouraged about this and wondering if I do ovulate. This has made me a little sad today. I thought I would wake up to a higher temp and didn't.

So if I dont ovulate what are my options as far as conceiving?

I think you might want ot give it a little longer - you are charting as well as using OPKs, right? Are you checking your cervix as well? You really need to chart temps, check your cervical mucous and position to get a real sense of what your body is up to. And if you ahve only been off BCP for two cycles, that isn't all that long to let your body get back into the groove of things. there are things REs can do to help with your situation to induce ovulation if you really have a lot of anovulatory cycles(I think clmoid will induce ovulation - not sure though - I know it produces more eggs if you are ovulating). But patience is important when it comes to TTC (easier said than done, I know). Did you read "Taking Cahrge of YOur Fertility?"

Yes I read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", thanks to you. I read one of your earlier post about that book and went out and bought it. It was very helpful and I thank you for your ideas.

I am charting everything. I printed a chart from that book and have been using it along with Fertilityfriend.com. I guess patience is a virtue but boy is it hard! I am not in a hurry to conceive I am ust anxious to know if it will be possible without all the extensive fertility treatments.

I also read that you did IUI. Is that expensive? I know IVF can be. I hope I can avoid the IVF because it will add more stress. The cost isn't what worries me, just how extensive it is, bothers me.

How much longer should I wait to see if I get regular cycles?

You can read more about my cycles on my FAM thread if you would like. Thanks for your insight!

I suggest charting for 6 months before purchasing a single OPK. A negative test - no matter what the "test" is is negative on the mind. I believe conception needs little stress in the mother's system and negative thinking is stressful. Think of it as a 6 month training session... eat well, exercise, and watch your cycle. Cleanse your mind too. Don't allow yourself to obsess. Also keep reading about pregnancy and children and surround yourself with pregnant people and children if you can.
