My son is 4 (diagnosed at 18 months) and we do not do CPT. Our center promotes vigorous excersize over CPT. We went to an education day at Stanford a few years back and they did a presentation on this. In Sweden they don't do CPT and their lung function averages are higher than they are here. I would rather have my son out running around chasing a ball than sitting on the couch getting pounded by a vest. I also understood that CPT is only good if the patient knows how to cough effectively and get the junk up and out of their lungs. Just my personal thoughts.
