VEST. Respirtech vs hillroom

HI!
My boyfriend and I want to buy a vest, but here (Spain) nobody uses it, so we have lot of questions.
-Is it easy to use?. Everytime we ask his doctors about the vest they say it hasn´t been proved to be better than chest therapy. We don´t agree with that so we want to get one, but I am afraid that since nobody uses it here, the pneumologist wont be able to tell us how to use it... How will we know what settings are the best?
-We have tried hillroom vest 104 for a few days and seemed to work great. Hillroom is available in spain since 2006. (Although they have only sold 3 vest so far...) I would like to know why you prefer respirtech better. Is it only because is more confortable or do you think it works better? Do you cough up more sputum with the respirtech one?. Since we will have to pay 13K we would like to buy the one that works the best. We won´t be able to change it for years (too expensive!!!).
-Do you know if respirtech vest is sold in europe? Are you able to use respirtech vest when you travel overseas (because of electricity differences?).?
-Do you know who can I mail in respirtech so I can get some more information about the vest??.
Sorry, too many questions, but I don´t know who else can I ask! Nobody knows much about vests here in spain

I have had MUCH more success in loosening up my mucus using the Respirtech vest. It is so much easier to use than the Hillrom, much more comfortable, and I really like how easy it is to adjust the settings to get the best percussion therapy possible. I was never able to get anything coughed up with the Hillrom.

I have a HillRom and only heard about the Respirtech here, but it sounds like everyone really prefers the Respirtech. I'm just wondering what the exact differences are between the two. How are the settings that different? I thought the concept of the vest was basically the same so I don't understand how there could be THAT much difference from brand to brand. Can anyone explain in greater detail why the Respirtech is superior? I think this would help Rita, as well as a few more of us, to decide which vest to purchase. Also, for those of us in the states, have you had any problems getting your insurance (if you have it) to cover the Respirtech, especially if you already have or had the HillRom? Much appreciated - thanks
