I've been on Vfend for about 3 years and i was also worried about the visual disturbances i read about it causing. I do have the visual disturbances part but it only lasts about 15- 20 minutes or so and after taking it this long i barely notice it anymore. In fact i dont notice it at all. Its kind of like an aura to a migraine ( if you get them) You may see a faint flicker of light in the corner of your eye, or something similar , but as time goes on you may not even notice it anynore. My best advice is be careful in the sun. I get sunburned very easily ever since being on the Vfend, especially on the tops of my hands and the part in my hair . I have started wearing baseball hats and sunblock and it does help, i also try to stay in the shade as much as i can. I always take my oral meds with a meal which helps keep my stomach from being upset by one or two of them. I have taken Vfend on an empty stomach on many occasions and never had it cause any stomach discomfort.

i have taken Vfend for about 2.5 years. one of the doctors said i was a hypocrondiac when i told him i had visual problems with it. To say the least i dont see him anymore lol. Otherwise i would say it pretty easy on the body but not the pocket book.
