My 1 year old Lily has been vomiting about 10 to 12 times a day. We are waiting for the docs to call back with something. She has a feeding tube. I dont know what else to say but I was woundering if anyone has had this problem.

DS used to vomit from time to time, but not that excessively. Usually it was a sign he was constipated. Has she been pooping? Does is her tummy distended?

He also had reflux and was put on zantac for that. Did it just occur recently? Sometimes it was also an indication that he had an ear infection. Never spiked a fever at first, but his eating would slow down, then he'd hurl...

I'ld definately be concerned. Call the doctor. Is she pooping? Passing Gas? Is this out of the ordinary for her. You want to make sure she does not have a bowel obstruction. Hopefully it's just stomach virus or something, but again, I'ld be concerned about dehydration and ruling out a bowel obstruction.

That would be my concern, too. 10 to 12 times a day is alot for any child, let alone Lily's condition. Do you notice that she eats/drinks, and it comes right back up? If she can't hold food down and hasn't had any bowl movements, I think I would want her seen to make sure she does not have a bowl obstruction. When Andrew had his he vomited like crazy, was not going to the bathroom, and was downright lethargic..

An obstruction that is not treated could result in something called intesuseption, where the bowl kind of telescopes inside itself. Be careful and let us know what you find out.
