Wait time for results of sweat test?

Hi there, I was wondering if you all could share with me your experiences in waiting for your sweat tests results...how long before you got them? How did you get them... the Dr. or the lab? Any ideas on how to get them ASAP. Our appt for the test is on Wed. a.m. and we don't see the Dr. until Friday morning...a long 48 hours. Thanks.

We had our son's results in 45 minutes after the test was complete. We waited in the office for the result. That is the way I would think it should be for everyone - no?

Her test is not done at the Dr's office...it is at an off-site lab? Do you think I could get the results from them? Thanks for all of your responses.

Are you going to a CF accredited center for testing? That is what I would strongly recommend. We didn't evenI hope you can get the results quickly!

Yes we are going to an accredited testing center...that is why we had to wait so long just to get the appointment.
