WATER PARKS

I didn't see that you had posted this in the adults' section too. This is where I normally am, so I'm copying my response:
Some people will tell you no. I've been to water parks on several vacations including both main water parks at Disney World. I'm still alive, and still doing fine.
For me, it comes to: Do you want to keep your child from having fun in order to preserve maybe a tiny bit of health? And I might add, the bacteria you'll find at water parks can also be found in your bathroom. So there's no point avoiding the water park unless your child also never enters the bathroom.

As a recent rule of thumb, I'd say to watch out for those roller-coaster rides---make sure (by asking) if they did a nondestructive test on the wheel shafts to the coasters (had a fatal accident last May in Japan cause they didn't do that test!).
Also, I did hear about the spas being a bit too unsanitary for CF'rs. I'd just recommend showering before and after going into the pools, spas, etc. for preventiion...however, things must be different for the "spas" in Japan, where I'm not at all concerned about going in there...unless another Yakuza gang shows up, again!!
