Yikes! So glad the tamiflu helped. I had heard it wasn't going to help against H1N1, so this brings me hope that even if we get it, maybe there is treatment!

Hope you're feeling better. What an awful thing for the whole family to go through!

Hugs...

In my country the H1N1 has gone at least for the moment. A lot of people had it (not me neither my daughter) but what we learn is that for adults is much worse than for kids, we dont know really why (maybe because th flu shot somehow helps)
As well, we saw thet people born in the´40 and ´50 (like my parents) didn´t get the flu because in that years here we had it so they developed defenses, actually my dad took care of people with the H1N1 and nothing happened to him.
It prefare the coldest places and stay in the same place like for a month then it goes, In the T.V. news you knew where the flu was going because the city with more cases changes every week, so we saw how it moves with the cold.
The good thing about this was that now even thou we are in spring all the people cough in there arms not hand, they use this alcohol gel soap, and I and my daughter wear a mask and nobody looks rare to us.
now we are waiting for the shot
