We just wanted to thank all of you who prayed for us during our 4 months with the picc line, we had it removed today!!! PFT's are up and he feels great, so it is out. I am a little nerveous it is kinda like when its in and youre getting meds you know that for the most part you are gonna stay well, but I shouldnt think about worrying he is so happy and he said he is free for a while, what a great christmas present we got today.!! thank you joni for listening to me and trying to help us with some questions we really appreciate the pm's from you.

I posted about those exact feelings a few weeks ago after my son's picc came out. I felt silly being sad on a happy day, but the picc line was a sense of security, and without it I found myself waiting for the next exacerbation.

But you are right..it's the holiday. Enjoy your freedom and your family, and congratulations to you both!
