Congrats on a boy! We wanted a girl (DH more than me) but let me tell you - Boys LOVE their mamas!! I love having a boy and I think DH does too. He was really vocal about wanting a girl (not after we found out the sex though) yet recently a friend asked him if we're hoping for a girl this time and he said "nah, I don't think so - we'll be fine either way". So he's obviously come around that having a boy is really great too. And boys love rough play - which DH loves too. MIL is another story though - she had 2 boys and her boys have boys - no girls. Sooo.... she's extremely desperate for a girl. When BIL and SIL found out they'll be having another little boy in March they told FIL and asked him to tell MIL and that if she didn't have anything nice to say, not to say anything at all. (Sounds harsh but we would have done the same thing - her reactions to our boy "news" in the past has not been nice or excited).
This time I have a feeling it is a girl. We're not going to find out though. I am hoping girl just because I want that mother/daughter bond yet I will be equally thrilled with another boy. And I have a secret fear that I won't know what to do with a girl! Boys are pretty simple IMO. And I've already BTDT.
Congrats again!
