I haven't been on this board in a while. Joseph's last sweat test came out WAY neg. But, we did find out the he has 1p36. This is a deletion of the first chromosome. Maybe we will get some answers.

well the good news is it sounds as if your son probably does not have CF since the deletion is on the 1st chromosome not the 7th and since he has had several negative sweat tests. Has the genetic CF testing also been negative? I know how hard it is to feel worried about the health of your son and am glad to hear that the doctors have been so supportive in helping you to figure it out. A deletion on the first chromosome must be very frightening too but hopefully it will help you get your son the treatment he needs.
