How can someone measuring 19 weeks be the same size as a first time mom with a month to go. Wouldn't that be measuring 36 weeks? Maybe I read it wrong and you are measuing 19 weeks for someone with triplets.

Anyhow, you are doing great and so are your little miracles. Best of luck.

No, you read it right. I am measuring almost 36 weeks. To date, there are no standardized "twin, triplet, quad" measurements but there is for singleton pregnancies. They measure your fundal height (from pelvic bone to the top of the uterus) and the inches correspond to how far along you are. 26 inches, 26 weeks, 32 inches, 32 weeks... There is a few inches given in either direction for error, big babies, small babies, some women just don't get huge stomachs but do have big babies... but the fundal height is usually compared to the growth measurements of the babies and an accurate size is extracted from those two things.

In my case, my stomach is measuring almost 36 inches, but the babies are measuring slightly bigger than how far along I am, 18weeks 6days. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

Here I am, being pregnant again... It's not inches either, it's centimeters. 36 cm equals 36 weeks along (give or take for error, big baby, first time pregnancy...)

Sorry about that.
