Weight Gain

I have always had trouble gaining weight or keeping it on.
All of a sudden, I am gaining weight and keeping it. I
usually go between 102 and 106.  The last time I checked I was
110.  My clothes are getting snug so I think I even weigh more
than that.  Does any one have any guess on why this is
happening. Trust me I'm not complaining.  I actually have a
booty. I had two coworkers comment on my weight gain. In a good
way.

I think you might be exercing and your blood sugars have probably improved so this can attribute to weight gain if your body needs it. Are you eating more? If you are working out and eating you are also building muscle and toning up which will make everything fit more snugly. Keep it up.

I don't have cf, my son does, so I'm just taking a guess. Could it be a certain med that you're on? I know some meds for anxiety can cause weight gain, and I think birth control pills too.

Honestly, i heard that the female body goes through different cycles of change, each lasting like 7 years. Maybe you're at the start of a new cycle?

Ok don't ask me where i heard this, but it was from a girl, that's all i know!

Here is another thought to ponder. It sounds like you have been very motivated and happy. That will relax your body overall boosting your health. When someone is stressed out especially CF will burn and burn the calories. Exercise is just wonderful and we will never know all the results as many years down the line scientists will probably come up with another finding how wonderful Exercise is.

Perhaps it balances the body where if someone is thin they would gain weight or maintain and if someone is heavier they would lose weight. Tuning up your health through exercise and eating well will definitely help us.

I also believe when you set goals for yourself you will tend to achieve them and doing so many great things will happen.

Just never stop the working out

I have changes out of the blue also. Mine arent overall weight gain, but a definite weight shift. Smaller in the chest & bigger in the hips. I am not complaining since Hubby is a BUTT man, but still....how odd that it seems to happen out of nowhere! I would definitely enjoy it!
