On the less medical, more literary end of things: "Give Me One Wish" by Jackie Gordon (I think), and Bob Flanagan's "Pain Journal" (although this can be somewhat tedious reading). Flanagan was the one that Kirby ***** made the documentary "Sick" about; Because of its subject matter (sadomasochism) it's not for the faint of heart. If you are interested in poetry at all, the poet Diane Fisher wrote a little bit about her daughter's CF in the book "One of Everything," and also fiction writer Lorrie Moore wrote a short story called "This Is It" in her book of short stories "Birds of America" in which a little boy has CF.
