what are these tablets for??

a couple of days ago at clinic i was given some tablets called Ferrous Sulphate Tablets? two to be taken twice a day.any one have an idea what these are for. my doctor mentioned iron.

They are iron supplementation. You must have a low iron count, either anemic or borderline anemic.
