my son just had the bronch done 11/07 first one.....I feel your pain and you are in my prayers! Brent just started on HS and it has helped a lot. Have they actually done tests to check the nissen? My GI told me that it was fine, but I made them do a barium swallow, and it had come undone.It only lasted 3 months.
Inflammation is normal in CF, but it should be as low as possible. People with higher lung fuction often have less inflammation(and less scarring of the tissue). I'd assume the inflammation was high for your sons age/lung function.
