Hey in castlebar the cf nurse got Playstations 4 the private rooms and an xtravision card to be used by the cfer's so thats what I do in hospitial get a couple of other people to bug the cf team with you and who knows what you can get.
O ya shamrock if youre still in school in Ireland you can get a free Laptop out of the government coz it helps you to learn if you havnt already ask a teacher or someone about it

I cant remember now its bout 3 years since I got one. One of my teachers heard about it. I think its generally for people with more physical handicaps but we also fit in. If you have a special needs teacher in your school they might have the info

well i was just in the hopital for the first time in 7 years but i walked around when i was not hooked up to my ivs...my stepmom also bought me a nerf ball ( i love basketball) and a nerf hoop i also played video games and ate alot my nurses were pretty cool so i would talk to them some time i watched movie slept...and read magazines too. it wasnt that boring.. i just was ready to get out cause of the thought everyone was all sad over it and stuff so it kind of made me want to leave but it was ok there....i went in just to get a "tune up"

My brother and I liked this when he was in the hospital getting his g-tube. Get ahold of some vaseline, smear it on the door knob just enough to make it slimy but not so much that you can see it. Then push your call button. Nice slimy door knob.
Or if they want a urine sample say you just went and you'll get it ASAP. Poor some apple juice in the cup and wait for it to get warm (so the nurse won't catch on to it being cold). When they come in to get it they will usually say something about it being a weird color or cloudy. Then you take it back and say, "better run it through again" and drink it down.

When I was much younger, I once put warm apple juice, in an easily-knocked over cup, on top of the door. Next nurse that walked in...
That was probably one of the most mean-spirited pranks I ever pulled. Ha. Later, I stayed unbored by talking on the phone, playing games on my Palm handheld (they're such wonderful little devices!), watching TV, and chatting online if I have net access. Now I don't usually go into the hospital at all, but inject antibiotics at home.
