Hi,
I would call both the pharmacy and the nurse. Between both, one of the should get it done for you. I would also call the doc to see if they have samples to tide you over. Our doctor is pretty good about giving us samples. Is this the first time this has happened? If you are not pleased or thinking your not getting the best of care for your little one, I'd switch, but I can be kind of dramatic like that. The doctors and staff are there for you. You need to let them know your concerns. They should be available to you. When we go to the doctor, he takes at least 30 min. (longer if necessary) with our daughter, answers any of our questions and is the one who types up her take home care plan. He looks at her nose and throat everytime, counts her resp. rate, listens to her lungs, reviews her pfts, etc. He usually is running behind and sometimes we may be at the office for a couple of hours but it is because he is so thorough with all his patients. He also always tells us if we have any concerns day or night to call, they even return calls on the weekedns (the longest we have ever waited for a return call was an hour). If we call the pedi, he also asks us to call his office too, just so they know what's going on. He is considered pretty aggresive in his approach to cf, which I love. You deserve that kind of care too. I know I might be a bit on a soap box, but your daughter deserves the best and remember they are probably charging the insurance company out the wazoo, so you make sure that you are happy with her care. I apologize if I sound a bit drama momma<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
PS. How old is your daughter, through solvey pharmacy she can get free creon until the age of three (It is called the WEE Care program. It also comes with free vitamaxx.
